Evaluating your Tennis Gamae for ourplaying structure:
Portland Tennis Courts, Orlando Tennis Courts, Cincinnati Tennis Courts

NTRP Rating Written Description and League Comments

1.5 - 2.0 You describe yourself as a beginner. You know how to serve and return points but you haven’t developed any game consistency. You have learned how to keep score. You enjoy the game of tennis and desire to meet up with other people who have the same love.
Admin Comments: Recreational skill level, About 5% of the tennis players are in this division. You’re a competitive beginner. We’d like all Beginner’s to participate in the Partner Program until they have sufficient experience to take part in the leagues.

2.5 Requires on-tennis court experience. Has stroke weaknesses but is familiar with basic positions for singles and doubles play. 2.5 Learning to judge where the ball is going although court coverage is weak. Can sustain a short rally of weak pace with other tennis tennis players of the same ability.
Admin Comments: Recreational division, About 10% of the tennis players are in this division. You’re an advanced beginner in this category. We hope the minimum ability players have is to be able to serve and maintain a couple stroke rally.

3.0 Fairly consistent when hitting mid-paced tennis shots, but isn’t decent with all tennis strokes and misses execution when trying for leading control, depth or power.
Admin Comments: Skilled division, About 20% of the tennis players are in this division

3.25 You’re in-between 3.0 and 3.5 Skill rating.

3.5 Has achieved improved stroke reliability with directing control on light tennis shots, but still misses depth and diversity. Starting to demonstrate more competitive net play, has improved court coverage and is developing teamwork in doubles.
Admin Comments: Competitive1 skill level, About 40% of the tennis players are in this skill level. The majority of non-trained adult players are at this level.

3.75 You’re in-between 3.5 and 4.0 Skill rating.
Admin Comments: Advanced2 division, This division appears when the program’s league is big sufficient and we have enough returning players. The addition of this division allows the program to fine tune the levels and the matches incline to be more evenly matched.

4.0 Has sure tennis strokes, including guiding control and depth on both forehand and backhand sides on average tennis shots, plus the ability to use lobs, overheads, approach shots and volleys with some success. From Time to Time pulls errors when serving. Rallies may be lost due to impatience.

4.5 Masters the use of power and spins and beginning to handle pace, has sound footwork, can control depth of strokes and is beginning to vary game plan according to opponents. Can hit first serves with power and accuracy and place the second serve. Tends to over hit on difficult strokes.
