A Simple Technique for More Muscle Mass

Filed under: Templates Management — admin at 12:42 pm on Monday, March 31, 2008

Contantly pounding your body with heavy weights and low reps can
take it’s toll on you, both physically and mentally. Squats may
be the most beneficial weight lifitng exercise you can do.
However, putting hundreds of pounds on your back workout after
workout, always trying to better your performance, can kill your
motivation.

The same goes for any of the best exercises - deadlifts, bench
press, shoulder press, stiff-legged deadlift, etc. So what do
you do to increase your muscle mass when you find yourself
grinding down on the most important exercises?

A technique that I use to break out of a rut, and one that will
kickstart your motivation and new muscle mass growth, is plain
old vanilla pre-exhaustion. Sure, it’s been around a long time
but how many people do you see use it consistently? And why
should they? Because it flat out works!

For those of you that may not be familiar with the technique,
pre-exhaustion works like this. It’s nothing more than a
superset, which is performing two different exercises back to
back with no rest in between. However, the selection and order
of the two exercises is specific to pre-exhaustion. While you
could superset bent over barbell rows and bench presses, that’s
not a pre-exhaust set.

Pre-exhaustion involves using a single-joint (or isolation)
exercise, followed immediately by a multi-joint (or compound)
exercise that works the same muscle group.

So what’s the point of pre-exhaustion and how can you use it
effectively to break out of a rut and build more muscle mass?

The pre-exhaustion technique is beneficial in a few ways. First
of all, it increases your level of intensity. How does it do
this? By allowing you to perform more work in less time. And we
know that increasing your intensity level over time leads to
more muscle gain.

The pre-exhaustion technique also allows you to pre-fatigue a
muscle group, thus possibly bypassing a weak link in a specific
exercise, which again allows you to increase the intensity of an
exercise.

For example, for many people their weak link on the bench press
is their triceps. Unless you’re naturally barrel chested, a good
portion of the rep on the bench press is performed by the
tricep. By utilizing an isolation movement first, like the pec
deck or cable crossover, you fatigue the pec muscles. This
allows the fresh triceps to help fatigue the pecs even more on
the next exercise, the bench press.

This technique can also help you mentally by giving you a break
from the huge poundaged on the compound movements. How does it
do that? Obviously, you have to lighten the load on the compound
movements when you do them right after a set of the isolation
exercise.

Another variation of the technique is to continue to perform
straight sets but do so in a certain order. For example, you may
perform three straight sets of 10 reps on the pec deck and then
move on to your three sets of the bench press. You may even want
to use both in different periods of time. Or experiment with
both pre-exhuast technique to see which one you prefer.

Either way, you’ll get a fresh workout that can help you break
through ruts and start building muscle mass again.

Currency Options - Four Simple Tips for Bigger Profits

Filed under: Financial World — admin at 11:56 am on Monday, March 31, 2008

Options in theory give you unlimited profit potential and limited risk. Sounds good? In theory it does, but keep in mind that 90% of options that are bought expire worthless, so that’s a 90% chance of losing your money - if you don’t know what you are doing.

Getting the Odds on Your Side

You can however increase your odds of success with currency options by knowing which options to buy and sell and by knowing how foreign exchange markets work.

Four Simple Tips to Increase Your Odds of Success

Let’s assume you want to buy an option and the price of the British Pound is at 1.60, you are expecting the British Pound to go to 1.90. What option do you buy?

1. Potential Rewards are not what they seem

The first points to consider when buying an option is how much time value you want and what strike price you wish to buy.

There are two points to consider

. Time to expiry
. How far out of of the money the strike price is

2. Get time on your side

Keep in mind your option does not just need to go your way from when you bought it; it needs to trade in the money by expiry.

3. Buy realistic strike prices

If you want to make money in options trading, buy strikes that are in the money or close to the money, with plenty of time to expiry.

4. How to buy options in longer term trends

If you are trading currencies and trading the longer-term trend, position yourself into the trend in the following manner.

Identify the long-term trend via trend lines.

Wait for a dip in the market to position yourself in the trend.

Watch for dips to nearby support and then look for confirmation with stochastic crossovers, or other momentum tools to enter the option.

Another way of buying options in the long-term trend is to look for moves to the middle of a Bollinger band to time entry. This is a great tool in strongly trending markets.

The above will work well in strongly trending markets and if you buy in the money options or realistic strike prices with plenty of time on your side, you will increase your odds of success dramatically.

The above is a simple strategy and one that can help you make big profits from currency trading buying options.

What about Strategies that are more Complicated?
You can do a whole number of options strategies, but our view is why make it complicated?

Many traders think the more complicated the strategy the better the chances of success but this is not true in currency options.

There is no correlation between how complicated a strategy is and its chances of success.

  • Unique Beach Wedding Receptions

Filed under: Relationship Infos — admin at 9:19 pm on Sunday, March 30, 2008

The most unique beach wedding reception ideas are sparked by
imagination not tradition. Never mind etiquette, tradition and
timelines. That information is outdated and stuffy. Do what will
make you and your guests happy. It is a time for fun and
    celebration, not pomp and ceremony!

Long gone are the days of “assigned” seating arrangements and
cookie cutter reception programs. Everyone waiting to be told
what to do next. Yawn! Today, you can “have it your way”. No, I
am not suggesting that “Burger King” host your reception. But,
you could, IF you wanted to! That’s the message.

To plan for your reception, you need first to know:

    * What is your theme? * What time of day you will be having your
wedding ceremony? * What type of atmosphere do you wish to
    create?

Answer those three questions and great beach wedding reception
    ideas will follow.

Perhaps you will marry in a romantic sunrise ceremony followed
by a breakfast reception. How about an early afternoon wedding
followed by a beach barbeque? Plan fun activities such as a sand
castle building contest or a volleyball game. Marry at sunset.
Follow the ceremony with a wine and cheese reception and
    dancing.

The size of your guest list and your budget will also help to
    determine which path you take.

Buffet or food station receptions lend themselves very well to
informal beach weddings and are the most fun. They are also
cheaper! You can easily coordinate this type of reception
yourself and eliminate the added expense of a caterer. Those
special women in your family who love to cook would be honored
to assist with this project I’ll bet. Heck, knowing “Aunt Jo”
and “Grandma”, they will probably take over and you won’t have
    to worry about a thing!

Formal afternoon weddings will of course lead to the usual “sit
down” planned menus. Caterers will be necessary. The advantage
being that the whole affair will be tended to without you
lifting a finger…for a price. In order to cut costs here, you
will have to limit the menu and the guests.

So, if you have a large guest list and a limited budget, avoid
marrying late in the afternoon. Guests will be hungry and expect
the dinner reception. Instead, stick with a breakfast, brunch or
    cocktail reception.

The wedding industry dictates that a reception should be from
three to five hours in length. Rubbish! A reception should be as
long as it takes for you and your guests to enjoy each others
company and have fun. It can last a couple of hours or all day
    if you like.

Don’t feel obligated to stretch the event out. Often, your older
guests tire easily and would like to leave before the designated
departure time anyway. If you are having a beach side bash,
consider a “come and go” atmosphere. Let people know what time
your departure will be so they can be there to send you off.

As far as beach wedding reception ideas go, the rule of thumb is
    - there is no rule of thumb! Break the mold. Do something
    different, something fun, something memorable.

Whatever you and your guests will enjoy most, IS the perfect
    beach wedding reception!

No Child Allowed To Advance Game

Filed under: Political Activities — admin at 8:45 pm on Sunday, March 30, 2008

Are we missing the boat in education of our next generation? Will we be able to shape the minds of innovation we need for the progression of our civilization? Can the; No Child Left Behind Act solve the problems in education? Many believe it will; yet others are not so sure. Most believe in education and mile markers for performance as an over all concept. However this could indeed cause a problem; you ask how so?

Well, with “no Child Left behind” we end up teaching to the middle or the lower of the average of the whole group. Thus those who have the ability to move faster are wading in the flood, rather than running on the levee. Since children’s brains learn different due to genetics and development stages, the group will be slowed down at all times to those children in the lowest stage, so they can catch up.

Rather than allowing those in the fast stages from screaming ahead at that time, then when these lightning level learners hit a slow point, they may slow the others in the group who are then slowed while they catch up. Although some would say we are all created equal, others say that is hokum, as there are some kids who are children of drugy parents during pregnancy or once created are no longer equal if they have been malnourished during growth phases.

How can anyone say they are equal? Some say they are equally important. But not equal in abilities. This has been many a thinking person’s personal observation and experience and no UCLA, Stanford, Rutgers or Harvard Medical Brain study could alter those real observations of those who truly think, as they insist that we are not created equal. Trying to deny that and make all children equal only hurts the whole and denies the individual their potential.

We all lose if a child cannot find his/her niche and be allowed to excel. Plato discussed this with regard to the best use of the individual in the Republic. The republic is best served when each individual concentrates on those things they are good at and relieved of those mundane activities in which they are not. This is good advice indeed, yet we work so hard to make every child equal; why would we do that?

Now then the idea behind the “no child left behind” is noble, but as teachers spend $1500-3000 per year of their own money in their classrooms and the teacher attrition rate is 50% in five years; “Houston We Have A Problem” with the next generation of rocket scientists. We could go on forever on this issue and debate, but I think this might explain the comment and abstract thoughts behind it:

There are those individuals who should not be applied to the politics of education. There are those who are beyond the brain washing game, there are those who are so valuable to the whole of our civilization that they must be found and allowed to advance at whatever rate they can achieve, in whatever endeavor they find such a niche. We may want to have a national debate on these issues as they will affect our ability to move forward into the future. Please think on this.
